Celeb Way; Your Way: Kim Kardashian's Outfit on "The View"

As everyone knows, Kim Kardashian is one of my fav people and idols! Some may disagree with that, but that is me and those people will have to get over that. Kimmie K was on The View yesterday (September 5) and her outfit was absolutely fab! She was wearing a gorgeous Lanvin red peplum dress and Christian Louboutin red spiked heals.

Later on yesterday, I was walking to work and what was in the window of Aldo?! Red spiked heals. It was fate. I knew I had to post this right away, so here it is. If you loved Kim's look on The View, here is how you can replicate it!

Neil Armstrong Passes Away

Neil Armstrong, known as the first person in the world to set foot on the moon, died earlier today. According to his family, he died of "complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures", at the age of 82. On July 20, 1969; Armstrong made history by becoming the first man on the moon, some may remember that small phrase he said while stepping foot on the moon, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". Armstrong landed on the moon at age 38 after a 250,000 mile, four day trip in the Apollo 11 shuttle. His family and friends are in my prayers and may he rest in peace.

Just a Few Pictures from Europe!

As I promised, here is a post about my Europe trip! It all started on July 25 at the JFK Airport in New York! We flew Lufthansa to Frankfurt, Germany and then to Venice! Getting to Venice was the best feeling ever. It was gorgeous and just so exciting to be there. We stayed at the Bauers Il Palazzo and it was gorgeous. The hotel was in a hundreds year old building right on the main canal and was very antique-y. The bathrooms were marble and gold and the rooms had huge chandeliers along with gorgeous bedding. It was definite five star status! After a couple of days, we boarded the Ruby Princess and set sail for Athens, Greece. Athens was actually my least favorite place on the cruise. The ruins we saw were amazing, but the city itself was dirty and just not very pretty. After Athens was Kusadasi, Turkey. In Kusadasi, we saw the House of the Virgin Mary, this was the house that the Virgin Mary died in. I have to say, it was pretty swanky for the times! Kusadasi is considered a resort town in Turkey, so the beaches are absolutely gorgeous and I could totally vacation there. Next was Istanbul, Turkey. Here we visited the Blue Mosque, which I learned is only what the tourists call it since the inside is blue. We also went to a bazaar, which is a similar to a shopping mall. Istanbul was the only place it rained, and by that it was only a 20 minute storm! After Istanbul, we had an at sea day, which was very relaxing. Next stop: Mykonos, Greece! Mykonos is a gorgeous resort town with all white houses. When you see pictures of Greece, this is what you see. It was absolutely gorgeous!! Next was the rest of the Italian part of the trip! We went to Naples, Florence, and Rome. Naples (or Napoli in Italian) was gorgeous, we visited Sorrento and instantly fell in love. Here we saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which was absolutely fascinating. Florence (or Firenze in Italian) is known for leather, so it only felt right that we visited a leather factory. We also saw the Statue of David, which was very detailed to say the least. Next up was Rome (or Roma in Italian), here we saw the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Pantheon. The Colosseum was something else, the way that the Romans have restored it over the years was absolutely phenomenal. Next up was Monte Carlo, Monaco. Monaco is the smallest state in the world next to the Vatican. Monaco is also extremely wealthy, a house where I live that would cost $800,000 would be about $12,000,000 in Monaco. Monaco is basically filled with a lot of extremely wealthy people and the royals (ohhh Grace Kelly)! While there we took a tour of the palace and it was absolutely amazing! After Monaco we sailed to our final docking place, Barcelona, Spain. Here my family extended our vacation for three days. We stayed at the Pullman Barcelona Skipper and it was just as nice as the Venice hotel, but a lot more modern. While in Barcelona, we learned that the city was modernized and transformed for the 1992 summer olympic games. Before then, the beach and city were separated by huge walls, now you can do some shopping and then walk five minutes to the beach! While there we relaxed, we did a little bit of touring, but we mostly did some shopping and went to the beach and pool. I fell in love with Barcelona and did not want to leave. I still wake up every morning wishing I was there. On August 13, we made our trek back to the United States. We flew from Barcelona to Frankfurt and then back to JFK. Here are just a few pictures to summarize my trip!

Posing in St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) in Venice (Venezia)!

Fall Fashion Finds...so far!!

I know that is has been a while since my last post, but I have been non-stop busy since I got back from my vacation! As I have mentioned, I have been doing just a little fall shopping. When I went through what I bought earlier, I realized that I have almost all bottoms...which can be a good thing because I normally have triple the amount of tops of bottoms! Anyway, here is what I have purchased so far.

These two pieces are both part of the September collection for Club Monaco! The Ella Top is an army green and the Elsa Skinny Jeans are a fab tan color! I wore this outfit to work the other day and it was a hit!

This is another fab top from the September Collection from Club Monaco, it is called the  Leigh Sweater. The deep red, blue, and off white are so much fun to match with different colored denim or printed denim (for those more daring)!

These are the Stella Printed Sateen Legging in Snakeskin from Express, when I saw them, I instantly knew I needed them! They are currently on sale for $49.99, so go snatch them while they are still there.

These are my new Free People Corduroy Skinnies in Sangria! I cannot wait to wear these!!

These peacock printed skinnies from Jessica Simpson are going to be so much fun to wear!

These are a must have for every girl's closet...high waisted jeans! These are black, so they will go with everything and are perfect for days where I feel like I need a little help sucking in my tummy! I got mine from Urban Outfitters.

This is everything that I have bought so far! I can't wait to be back in the city to hit up Zara and some other specialty stores to find those must have pieces! In a few days, look out for my shoe wish list!! I am drooling just thinking about it...have a great rest of your week everyone!
